The Ancol Ergo Flea Comb for Dogs and Cats is the perfect way to check for and remove any fleas and flea eggs from your dog's fur. The comb is ideal for all types of coats, long or short. The Flea Comb benefits from rounded teeth which are gently on your dog's skin and ensure no pulling or tugging.

To use, make sure your dog's coat is free from any tangles or knots. Begin by carefully moving the hair in the direction of the fur growth. Use the comb on the dog's whole body but pay particular attention to the ears and neck as this is where fleas commonly are. For your dog's comfort, do not push the comb into your dog's skin. The stainless-steel teeth will trap and remove fleas. If you see any fleas or eggs, please seek further advice and treatment.

Tips for grooming: Grooming your pet is the perfect way to create a bond, but to make sure it’s an enjoyable experience for you both, your dog needs to be introduced to it slowly. Make sure your dog is always relaxed before you begin and, preferably, has just exercised. Use any grooming tools gently and avoid pulling on any knots in their coat or tugging on their skin. Give your dog lots of reassurance all the way through to make them more comfortable. Always pause or end any grooming session if your dog shows any signs of stress. It’s best, at first, to keep your grooming sessions short and as your dog becomes more used to the process slowly increasing the length of your sessions.

Our standard delivery charge is £4.99 for orders under £69. For orders over £69 delivery is free of charge.

For non-UK Mainland addresses including Scottish Islands and Scottish Highlands, a charge of £19.99 will apply.

We do not currently ship to Northern Ireland

We offer a next working day delivery service for UK mainland addresses when orders are placed before midday Monday-Thursday at a cost of £9.99.

Delivery rates for our frozen products are based on next day delivery due to the perishable nature of these products and therefore will incur a £6.99 charge.

Frozen products will be delivered the next working day and you must be available to accept the goods within those times. If you are unable to accept the goods and the goods are returned to our warehouse, due to the perishable nature of these products we are unable to provide a refund.

If you are not 100% happy with your purchase from Pets & Friends, you can return it to us within 28 days of placing your order. Please let us know you wish to cancel your order within 14 days. You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.

All goods must be returned unused, as new, in a saleable condition with the original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the item has not been returned to us in a saleable condition.
