Treat Time: Get the Perfect Dog-Friendly Pancakes!

Shrove Tuesday is just around the corner, and it’s not only pet parents who get to have all the fun when it comes to pancake day!

We’ve got a fantastic recipe to create dog-friendly pancake which will give your puppers a tasty treat.

Ingredients

• 300g plain flour
• 2 eggs
• 400ml water

(you can add mashed banana if you’re feeling adventurous!)

Method

Firstly, make a classic batter with the 3 (or 4) ingredients. Use your judgement to get the perfect consistency if more water is required.

Then cook! It really is as simple as a classic pancake, fry for 40-50 seconds on each side to brown off. (showing off your pancake flipping skills is optional!)

It’s important then to let the pancakes cool before your dog can eat them. We’d recommend leaving them out of reach!

Then add your topping of choice. Some tasty, dog friend options include blueberries or bananas, or add your dog’s favourite treat to the top. You can even make it super special with some dog friendly peanut butter for the ultimate indulgence!
